I heard on ABC news this morning that 'Aphrodite' has disappeared, possibly due to a longliner. Nothing will highlight the plight of these birds better than such a disaster.


There are quite a few possibilities that could account for this signal dropping out. Emotionally one suspects foul play but sensibly there is no conclusion to be drawn.
