Sighting 17/5/04 1:15pm Sighted today and twice before during the past month, but confirmed ID today at close range. Six Pacific Bazas in my neighbours yard perched in the eucalypts. I heard their call first and saw them land in the trees. The same birds (I suspect) have flown over my property twice in the past month also. Couldn't make them out clearly that time. The call was a distinct two-not call repeated at times. They only stayed a few minutes then flew off. Regards, Carla Jackett Kangaroo Valley NSW 2577 02 4465 1517 --- Begin Message --- |
