The male Northern Shoveler was seen again at the Western Treatment Plant,
Werribee on Thursday 13 May and Friday 14 May. Once again it was located
by Bob Swindley during our regular counts for Melbourne Water. It was near
the 270S conservation ponds, and birders are advised to contact Will
Steele from Melbourne Water, who has again offered to help in a roster to
take birders to that area. He can be contacted on 9235 7287 or mobile
0418-373036, or email as above. Cheers, Richard.
