I live at Joyner, a suburd about 25 km from Brisbane ( near Lake Samsonvale ).

Can someone advise if there is a 'season' for friarbirds. Used to see little and noisy friarbirds on regular basis, but have not seen any for months. When in my garden they are always given a hard time by noisy miners-do they eventually move on, never to return?

On subject of noisy miners- do not dislike them at all-but are there any clues on how they can be discouraged in large numbers to allow other visitors?
