Hi folks, I've just spoken with the director of the Adelaide Zoo, Mark Craig, who did a quick check and confirms that the King Penguin is alive and well this morning. He also confirmed that, once it has finished its moult and returned to normal health, it is their intention to release the bird back into the Southern Ocean.
Tony.
