Hi folks, I've just spoken with the director of the Adelaide Zoo, Mark Craig, who did a quick check and confirms that the King Penguin is alive and well this morning. He also confirmed that, once it has finished its moult and returned to normal health, it is their intention to release the bird back into the Southern Ocean.

Tony.

Will they issue him with Surf Life Saving equipment? on a King tide? or are they thinking of a parachute?

Psssst Psst what is the normal health of a King Penguin? and does he have private alf insurance?

John

To all involved, from the little ones here, thank you for saving their "King"
... good luck to "King Alf"
