There should be fines but these are children that have been
taking them who come from the Aboriginal Village at Wallaga Lake?? Hopefully
National Parks will do something. I think there are signs up to warn people they
nest there on the shore. I know it is a silly place but who is gonna tell these
birds...."go nest somewhere else???"" Plovers even nest in ridiculous places as
well, I have had so many calls about Plovers this season as well...nesting in
the middle of driveways, etc...
