Hi All,

John Duranti asked me to report that he is almost sure (he only had bins!)
he saw the S.I.P.O. at the Entrance at 8.15 A. M. on New Years Day. He
identified it from a nearby A.P.O. by it's much shorter legs and hunched
posture, it was too far away to clearly see other features.

He was standing at the pelican feeding area looking North East towards
Karagi Point and the S.I.P.O. was feeding and resting on the sandbar.

The place was absolutely loaded with people so anyone wishing to see it
should try to get there early A. M. ,tide permitting.

Bruce.
