Hello All, I have been talking to a birdo from Britain who is a keen on the birds of SE Asia. We were discussing the split of the Australian Painted Snipe from the Asian Painted Snipe, and it being classified as a separate species. Could any one advise me (and him) on how "official" this reclassification is? Thanks!
