Michael,

Thanks for the reply. These geese are white and live in the park and as well are sometimes aggresive. They maybe affecting the local birds in the large pond but i don't think so as there are many ducks and water fowl as well as cormorants. Once again thanks.

Hi Jade

Most farmyard geese are Greylags in origin: many are pure
white but there are also a lot in between.

But I have seen the Chinese Goose (with a substantial bump
at the upper base of its bill but otherwise similar plumage)
at some public parks.

Feral Greylag flocks in England have built up to large
numbers - anbbd they can certainly harrass very well !
