John Gamblin kindly forwarded a very useful diet sheet. Just one point for non-South Australians - 'Murray Magpies' are really what Victorians call Mudlarks. The ignorant folk in NSW call them Peewees, and the birdbooks name them 'Australian Magpie-larks.' (actually according to the DNA-smiths they are aberrant monarch-flycatchers.) Anthea Fleming who still calls the Grey Fantail 'Cranky Fan'.
