Roosting Frogmouths

A Tawny Frogmouth recently observed by several Canberra birders in the Woden town centre area roosted for several days on a trellis covered in vines (leafless at this time of year) outside a coffee shop. One day it was on the outside of the trellis, another day right underneath, undereath the plastic suncloth. My wife thinks that what finally drove it away was the cigarette smoke!
