Hi Tom, You wrote, re the Minnippi Parklands: "Unfortunately I believe Brisbane City council is planning to 'develop' the area to incorporate a Golf-Course." I think that you need not worry too much. The proposed golf-course development is all on the western side of Bulimba Creek in what is presently City Council freehold leased for grazing, and is mostly open grassed country. The area around the small lake will not be directly affected. The proposal is of concern for it involves turning over part of the freehold to a private developer in return for the developer building the golf-course, and I think that the area the developer will turn into house-blocks is original eucalypt forest, but that is at the western end and well away from the Minnippi Parklands reserve.
