I have seen on one occassion, a couple of Bar-shouldered Doves at Comerong Island (approx. 200 km south of Sydney). In recent years I have seen quite a number of Bar-shouldered Doves within Sydney (e.g. Prospect, Kurnell and Cattai) and in the lower Blue Mountains (esp. Kurrajong Hills and Yurramundi) and they appear to be increasing.
