Hi
I am seeking some information about birding around certain towns in SE
Australia. I have checked the archives but unfortunately they do not use
the criteria I need.
I need sites that can be seen from a 2WD vehicle or involve no more than a
few metres of level walking.
I am heading south from the Gold Coast in October/November (if the doctor
allows) and would like to see some birds if possible although the trip is
not a birding one. I know of a number of places but the ones listed are
either new to me or I have not visited them in the last twenty years or
more. My mobility was fine back then.
Places I am interested in are:
Forbes/Parkes area
Leeton/Griffith
Shepparton
Melbourne (North and West)
Great Ocean Road
Portland to Mildura/Wentworth
The Murray River (Wentworth to Albury)
Wagga Wagga
Inverell
