Hello again Cathy and I are off to the SA Riverland later this week. We are thinking extending the trip to drive over into Victoria to look for Mallee Emu-wrens. Most likely to be Hattah-Lakes as we're only renting a small 2WD car. We're hoping someone out there on Birding-Aus can help direct us to an accessible place where MEW have been seen recently (i.e. not 10km along the Nowingi Track)? We hoping not to re-enact the failure of our November 2001 MEW-hunting trip. Regards Mat and Cathy Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
