Hi Birders,
Just back from India. I managed to squeeze in
a few days in southern Rajasthan during a recent business trip to India. I
went to the Dhamotar district, and was treated to 4 male Lesser Floricans,
including one in the open and 3 displaying, including good scope views and
eventually photos from 12 metres! Also notable, terrific views and photos
of Rain Quail, which is very hard to see outside the monsoon.
Good birding,
John
