Hi,

I was down looking at these Banded Lapwing on 27 July. There seemed to be two clutches then. I saw two chicks with one pair of parents and a third chick further back from the road with one adult. Very cute they were too. Just little golden fluff balls in the sun.

regards

Jen

On a more positive note, there were 4 adult Banded Lapwings and 2 chicks in the ploughed paddock on the corner of Pouties rd and Beach Rd. (opposite Avalon Airport).
