Hi All (Especially WTP visitors), On my way out to the WTP today at about 3pm, i found the corpse of a Black Falcon on the turn-off to the Avalon Airport. If anyone is going to the WTP over the next couple of days, and is returning to Melbourne, and could deliver the specimen to the Melbourne museum, could they please contact me? I have placed it near the birdhide on Little River, since my workmates wouldn't appreciate a falcon corpse in the fridge. : ) Also, if anyone see's the Black Falcon at Farm Rd, could they please notify me, so i can confirm whether this was the same bird or not? On a more positive note, there were 4 adult Banded Lapwings and 2 chicks in the ploughed paddock on the corner of Pouties rd and Beach Rd. (opposite Avalon Airport). Peter
