Are King Parrots particularly fond of mistletoe ? I wonder because today one was recorded feeding on it in Sandringham and there is one posting on birding-aus (from Barry McClean this April) with an observation of "a pair quietly eating mistletoe seeds" at Violet Town. Here in the City of Bayside they are rare visitors mainly in spring. Pity Ian Dowling has just gone walk about as I would like to know if those recent records from the Mornington Peninsula are associated with mistletoe.
