Stephen I have heard a chanel Billed Cuckoo calling on and off for a week or so now. I am nearly directly across from the ACT on the Coast. I have Galahs sitting on eggs in my front hollow tree. Here the birds are nesting a little earlier than usual. I think it is the weather conditions, being warm during the days, but the nights are freezing. Marian |
