Yes, the Apostlebirds appear to be now well established in Sydney. I have seen them also at Mt Druit (in the Blacktown Shire) and I was also told that they are in the golf course near Blacktown Show Ground. I also recall seeing birds outside the aviary in the grounds of Featherdale Wildlife Park in Doonside (which has one of the best collections of native birds) and breeding. Does anybody have records of them outside the Blacktown area (in western Sydney)? Edwin |
