Hi Vin, Russ and birding auser's,

I think you have definitely got an unusual-looking bird but sadly just an abberant Silver Gull, the bill and head look very similar to an immature although the legs and feet a far more 'yellow' than usual. Definitely worth a second look though.

Tom

I have put up a page with this and a few other birds that I currently cant properly identify at http://yallara.cs.rmit.edu.au/~vhl/unidentified.html

Thanks.
Vin
