Andrew,

I've photographed the dark phase White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike in Townsville and I've seen it just north of Sydney so they seem to have an extensive range on the east coast.

Cheers,
Ian

Hi folks
Last week at Traveston, Noosa shire, SEQ, I saw my first ever dark phase white-bellied cuckoo-shrike. Before consulting a field guide, I thought it might be an immature male cicadabird! Anyway, can anyone tell me how far north the dark phase birds go? Cheers
Andrew
