Thank you to whoever was the clever eagle eye to first spot this unusual looking bird. Our group of eight found it ducking behind the humps of earth beside the Paradise Rd ponds, despite it being so well camoufleged. I'm sure we would never have seen it had it not been for this mailing list alerting us to it. A new bird for 7 of us and what a stunner.
