Queensland land clearing

In a previous posting, I stated:

"The percentage of the state that has been cleared is still way less than
any of the other states."  At the time of writing this, I had been
re-reading some reports that stated this was true.  I have now been
corrected by Laurie Knight who has suggested that, perhaps the reports I
used for my information were based on old data.  Laurie has quoted his up to
date sources and I can not argue with them.

Northern Territory, Western Australia and South Australia have cleared less
land (percentage wise) than Queensland.  I always thought that the South
Australians were enlightened in these matters but I now have to put the
Territorians and Western Australians in the same category.
