Paul Peake stated in his posting: "I am writing to ask you to help with what could be the biggest single win in protecting nature in Australia- ever." He is probably correct. What is sad is that it has taken so long for Australians to understand this. The other states have been destroyed long ago. It is interesting that Queensland has taken so long to catch up in the land clearing stakes. The percentage of the state that has been cleared is still way less than any of the other states. Thank goodness that sanity has prevailed and we are stopping before we get to their levels.
