Subject: | Large numbers of Straw Necked Ibis near WTP |

There were large numbers(2000-3000) of Straw Necked Ibis in the paddocks along the road down to Pt Kirk(Werribee,Vic) today. I'm guessing at the numbers since there were just too many to count, but certainly somewhere into the thousands. Pt Kirk itself was very quite, with a lone Common Greenshank and few Red Necked Stints and a Wood Sandpiper. Peter |
