Yeah well I could have told you that, I drove down for 2.5 hrs last Friday in an unsuccessful attempt to find the Little Curlew. They haven't drained the pond - they're having trouble filling it up in the first place. Due to the low flows in the River Murray the levels in Lake Alexandrine are on a record low and there is not enough water to pump into Tolderol, that's how they usually fill the ponds. Peter |
