Syd and all, Another obvious error in the book - on page 51 there is a photo of a male Superb Lyrebird in full display with its tail spread over itself. The caption reads: "The lyrebird's wings, spread in this spectacular shape, gave the bird its name - they resemble a lyre...." By the way, today a pair of Satin Flycatchers have been hanging around my garden, along with the first Fan-tailed Cuckoo I've seen in ages (it's been a really quiet season for cuckoos here). Grey Fantails are suddenly everywhere. It's starting to feel like autumn.
