A damp early-morning visit to the ponds at Eastlakes Golf Course
(Sydney) on Saturday morning, 22/2/03, produced:

c.50 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper (despite heroic efforts, I could not convert
any of them into a Buff-breasted)
3 Curlew-sandpiper
1 Snipe
1 or perhaps 2 Spotless Crake
2 Tawny Grassbird
1 Brown Goshawk
+ the usual suspects

Alas, no Wagtails, no Little Bittern
