Trevor Ford has sent me some photos he took today (Tuesday, 18th February)
of the Laughing Gull at Bribie Island, which show very clearly the extent of
the moult that this individual has undergone over the last six weeks.

For anyone interested in seeing how the bird looks today, I've put them on
the Abberton website alongside Trevor's photo of the full-plumaged bird.

Go to www.abberton.org and click on View Latest Photographs.
