How about a raucous of gulls? LK On Saturday, February 15, 2003, at 01:25 PM, Jim Reside wrote: Hello Folks, Just a request for some bird trivia information. A young friend hasbeen asked to find out what the collective expression is for a group of Ravens and a group of Gulls. I have only heard of people referring to a "murder" of Crows, I think, and assumed that it referred to both Crows and Ravens. I have never encountered something for Gulls other than a flock. I hope somebody can enlighten me and my young friend. Thanks, Jim Reside Laurie & Leanne Knight Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
