Speaking of Doves and Pigeons, at West Head in Ku-ring-gai NP yesterday (2 January) at approx 11:30 am, a large flock (50 birds) of pigeons was seen flying north from Barrenjoey Head (first spotted there - exact starting point not known), across Broken Bay towards Pearl Beach - we think that they were Topknots but couldn't see too many details.
