Hi John and all I followed up today on a report from a friend of mine who has a mild interest in birds that he had some unidentifiable parrots feeding in his flowering Ironbarks . From his description I assumed them to be Musks or Littles . He said there had been around 100 frantically feeding on the blossom in light rain on Christmas Day. Three days later most of the blossom gone though I managed to find 4 Musk Lorikeets and two Rainbow Lorikeets. This was near Clarencetown just North of Newcastle and Raymond Terrace in NSW.
