Hi folks
News just phoned in to me by Simon Mustoe is that there's a female
Southern Elephant Seal (Mirounga leonina) hauled up on the beach
somewhere at Point Henry near Geelong. DNRE folks are keeping an eye on
her, as over the last 2 weeks she has on occasions been hassled by
inconsiderate humans. I don't have any precise directions, but at
somwhere between 2-3m in length, this beast shouldn't be too hard to
spot. If you do go for a look, please be nice .....
L.
