Blue-and-white Flycatchers breed in Japan, and in contiguous areas of south
east Asia. This is, I think the second Australian record. This bird must
have overshot Indonesia. It is also possible that it was a cage bird, on a
ship, and escaped while the ship was off the coast - I'm afraid that they
are a common cage bird being so beautiful. It won't breed here.
