I was passing through Nowra today (Saturday) and decided to make the short detour to Shoalhaven Heads and see if the Canada Goose was still there. It was quickly located feeding in shallow water only a couple of metres away from the carpark at the far eastern end of River Road.

I must admit that if I had found it myself I would just have assumed it was a feral, and probably not told anyone or given the bird a second thought!
