Hi folks, Bill here A colleague has just been asking about a call he hears at night (he lives in Greensborough in Melbourne, and his yard backs up to a large area of grassland with the occasional roo). He pretty accurately described a Horsefield's bronze-cuckoo call. Does a HBC call at night? I haven't heard one myself, but living in Kew as I do, this perhaps isn't terribly surprising.
