(From Taihape NZ) I have a young magpie - recently left the nest - can't really fly - no parents around - now have it in a cat cage and have fed it a bit of thinly sliced steak. I need to know what to feed this bird! They obviously become tame readily and in a while will be able to cope for itself. In the meantime suggestions please.
