Hello birders, The Australasian Bittern gave me crippling views at 600hrs this morning whilst it was feeding on the Eastern side of Pitt Town Lagoon. The Wood Sand Piper is at the S/E end didnt see the Pectoral SP but many of the birds are feeding on the western side in good cover so it may be there. 15 Whiskered Terns, 2 Caspian still there. At Pitt Town Ferry Rd Lagoon there was 1 Black-tailed Native Hen there this morning. THE GREAT HAWKESBURY 50-60KM N/W of Sydney. keith brandwood Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
