Good of you to let us know but the important
thing is to let THEM (those that goofed) know! Like the National Aboriginal
Community Controlled Health Organisation that had used the American Bald Eagle
Haliaetus leucocephalus in their emblem. Fortunately, (some time) after I
expressed my amazement and disappointment to them, they have changed it
to a Wedge-tailed Eagle.

Roller at Port Macquarie?
Now that I have got your
attention. I was just shown a brochure on the environmental values of a
development at Port Macquarie. Another case of a pretty picture being
used to fool the uneducated. This website (http://www.northlakesestate.com/environmental_policy.asp)
has a very small picture of the bird, but the brochure has a full blown
picture of a Roller (possibly European, but more likely one of the
African long-tailed species). Certainly not at Port Macquarie. Made
me laugh on a Friday
afternoon.
