I also saw two attempting to fly into the southerly wind as I was driving
along King Georges Road at South Hurstville in southern Sydney today.

Re: Lorna Blooms note, Pacific (White necked) Heron - we sighted one at
Royal National Park (near Sydney) on 1/7/02 - also quite unusual, haven't
seen one there for many years. And today 3/7 there was one at
Cape Solander, Kurnell flying just above the cliffs .
