Hi Birders,
Marnix Swankhuisen requested information about Brush Bronzewings reported from the Cowra District in 1978.
The observation was published in the NSW 1978 Annual Bird Report (1979 Aust. Birds 14, 1) and was for a bird seen at Barryrennie, 30 km West of Cowra on 26 /9/1978 by R. Graves,  Lola Smith, A. Gibson, C.M. Bonser & Tom Bonser. This site is now within Conimbla National Park, and would be in the vicinity of the Broula and Conimbla Ranges. Some of the people mentioned have now passed away but they were/are well known birds from the NSWFOC.

The 1999 NSW Annual Bird Report has just been published and copies are available from the Secretary, Birding NSW, contact for details.
