Hi All, Several weeks ago there was some discussion on Birding-aus re. Spangled Drongos taking nectar, I remember I mentioned one I saw taking nectar from Heath Banksia blossom. This morning I was down at Warriewood Wetland checking for Regent Honeyeaters and Swift Parrots, unfortunately no Regents or Swifties, but 100's of Rainbow Lorikeets, Fuscous and Yellow-faced H/es, Noisy Miners and a few Scarlet H/e. Also three Spangled Drongos with their faces buried in Swamp Mahogany blossom. They also thought the feast too good to pass up. Bruce. Bruce Cox. 48 Rangers Retreat Rd. Frenchs Forest. Sydney. 2086.
