The Swift Parrot story in the Age yesterday encouraged me to muster strength and great stamina to move my rather large bird bath from the backyard and out to the front yard under my very large gum tree full of Musk Lorikeets (it has also turned into a rather popular Flying Fox feeding tree each night).  Does anyone know if Musks bathe and could a bright blue ceramic birdbath possibly put them off?

While I am not that hopeful of success, as absolutely nothing has taken a dunk since I bought the bath, if anything does come about I'm happy to serve tea, coffee and home made popcorn!

It goes with saying that Swifties are more than welcome to join in !
