Dear Aus-birders A SOSSA Research trip out of Bateman's Bay last Sunday 31 March, 2002 was most suprising. We recorded the following unusual species for the date and location: Campbell Albatross 1 second year Shy Albatross 12 from a newly fledged 1year to 3rd year birds BULLER'S ALBATROSS 3 adult KERMADEC PETREL 4 WHITE-NECKED PETREL 1 It was a very strange day with no Jeagers apparent and only 2 Wedge-tailed Shearwaters reocxrded.
