What are we missing? According to the NSW Parliament web page, the Game Bill 2001 has lapsed at the second reading stage in the Legislative Assembly. Is there now an attempt to get it rolling again, or what? I was also surprised to see that the game hunting "industry" had seven seats out of fourteen on the proposed council. Have I missed something? This does not seem to display a "stacking" of the proposed council. The inclusion of native species of bird is a thought provoking matter that should interest all of us, but anything that will assist the eradication of feral pests needs to be given a hearing.
