Mawnin' all,
David Harper's Hudsonian Godwit was twitched by all and sundry last evening
at Penrice Saltfields.

John Cox explained the breeding colouring patterns which makes it possible
to distinguish it from a Bar-tail without having to see the black underwing.
It obligingly lifted its wings a few times anyway showing the distinctive
underwing pattern.

Tony.
