Hi Lorna Here's a shorter reply to the list to let others know I've sent you the long one ! Briefly the "dirty dozen" persistent organic pollutants (including DDT) were banned by UN treaty last year after Bush agreed in April. Hooray! And don't forget the tobacco companies are still busily selling their deadly addictive product to third world countries.
