G'day All,
With World birding being such a large and growing
business/concern I think it would be sad if those that
partake in this very healthy lifestyle were to become
there very own "Grim Reapers" and cause the demise of
this rewarding and lucrative pursuit.
I shudder to think about how much is earned by Oz
tourism, and also from overseas birdo's and
photographers.
Is there such a Document ummm I'll say, out of the
United Nations perhaps, that applies to the safe
procedures both for the birdo? and the group to which
he belongs? and also the environment and it's care?
Does each and every BOCA issue to it's members a copy
of this document? or one of a similar version?
If all businesses here in Oz have regulations, which
are backed up by large financial penalties should they
be breached say for putting cyanide into aquifers,
then surely all bird/birding and other such "enviro"
organisations must have the same type of document?
and laws which apply to there business activities?
If not? Why not?
Perhaps Terry, some thought could also be given to
some Pome scurilous means of giving locations? :^D
I'm looking forward to a headache and some heat stress
today.
Or how about electrically tagging bad behaving
photographers, shocking thought eh :^D
